GLTArchitects worked with Avon township to develop a master plan for the original site and the additional proposed new buildings that would meet current, as well as future needs. Various site and design options were explored and considered. The selected option consisted of two buildings, on a single site.  The new Maintenance Facility houses township vehicles and equipment use for township road maintenance. The second newly constructed building serves as a township hall for meetings and the conduct of township business. This facility has been designed to allow for future growth and expansion.
