2019 Statewide Historic Preservation Conference coming to St. Cloud!

August 29, 2019
"A Statewide Conference focused on saving our past" is being hosted and administered by our communities local Stearns County History Museum.  GLTArchitects is honored to aide in the sponsorship of the opening reception on Wednesday evening which will be at St. Cloud's Courthouse. Our very own, Dan Tideman- Architect, will be interacting with participants in a "question and answer" type tour of  the architectural renovation and design within St.Cloud's Courthouse that GLTA was privledged to work on with the City.

SCSU's Husky Plaza is ready to lay Pavers!

An overview of St. Cloud States' Husky Plaza during construction.  The plaza accent wall and its masonry construction is underway, and paver area is being prepared for the placement of the inscribed pavers.  The site surrounding the plaza has been rough-graded in preparation for the landscape coming soon!!

The excitement draws near as the formwork and reinforcement for the footings have been completed at the future site of the St. Cloud State Husky Plaza.  The next step is to pour the concrete for the footings, and start forming for the foundation walls. SCSU Husky Plaza - 150th Anniversary! - St. Cloud, Mn

SCSU is celeberating its 150th year Anniversary, and with that, they have commissioned a sculputre for a bronzed husky statue.  "Located in the Heart of Campus!"  GLTA was hired to design a plaza, consisting of inscribed bricks/pavers from various donors at an area where students, visitors and alumni can come together.  GLTArchitects worked with SCSU and SCSU Fundation staff to provide The Husky Plaza.  It is aniticipated to be completed by Homecoming weekend!!

"Foley baseball field awaits a second season"

The new grandstand awaits it's second season of use March 19 in Foley.  Following renovation, the grandstand features a press box and reclaimed Metrodome seats.
The Foley School District grounds and athletic complex have seen many improvements in the last year; one of the larger improvements to the schools' facilities was the new baseball field grandstand and backstop.  The improvements are in their second season of use.
