Paramount Theatre is in the dark

The Paramount Theatre may be in the dark, but not for long....
"The new seats aren't just about comfort (they are 3 inches taller and allow for cupholders) and aesthetics; more patrons can pack inside the theater. The installation will increase the seat number from about 700 to 806."

The Roosevelt Boys & Girls Club Gymnasium Groundbreaking, St. Cloud, MN

The Roosevelt Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium Groundbreaking Celebration and Donor Appreciation Dinner ws held on May 7th. Designed by GLTArchitects, the new addition will include a 5,487 square-foot gym and 1,860 square feet of multi-purpose space and is scheduled to be completed by end of the year. GLTArchitects has a long-standing relationship with the Boys & Girls Club facility as well as a previous facilities addition in 2012. To learn more about the project, see here.

Stearns History Museum Concept Unveiled, St. Cloud, MN

GLTArchitects is working with the Stearns History Museum to create a conceptual design for the expansion of the current facility. The Museum has outgrown their current building and wants to provide additional space to house the Children's Museum, as well as a new larger exhibit hall for the History Museum. A smaller traveling Exhibit Hall/Art Gallery will also be included. A new large Atrium Lobby connects the existing building to the addition and will serve as a public event space. This concept plan was unveiled at the recent Annual Stearns History Museum fundraising event.

Gorecki Guest House Groundbreaking

A groundbreaking event was hosted for the new expansion to the St. Cloud Hospital’s Gorecki Guest House.  With a generous donation from Benedict and Dorothy Gorecki the facility will be expanded from 12 to 28 guest rooms.  The addition will allow St. Cloud Hospital to offer more patients and family members a convenient home-like place to stay while receiving medical care.

Minnesota Fishing Center Preliminary Design Completed, Little Falls, MN

March 30, 2015
GLTArchitects worked with Boser Construction to develop a preliminary design for an all new Minnesota Fishing Center. The center would be located in Little Falls, Minnesota and would include the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and Minnesota Fishing Museum. The proposed design was unveiled at the Northwest Sportshow on March 28, 2015.

Gorecki Guest House - CentraCare Health, St. Cloud, MN

The CentraCare Health Gorecki Guest House provides patients and family members a convenient and comfortable place to stay while receiving medical care at the St. Cloud Hospital.  This 16-bed addition to the existing facility is scheduled to start construction in the spring of 2015 for a fall opening.  Working on design options with members of the neighborhood, this facility is designed to offer a homelike atmosphere and fit with the residential character of the adjacent homes.

Kaleidoscope Charter School Addition Groundbreaking, Otsego, MN

It was a cool fall day, but the students had a lot of fun at the groundbreaking event for the new addition to their school. Kaleidoscope Charter School in Otsego, MN was in need of a significant addition to the existing facility to accommodate growth among current grades and to offer senior high school grade levels. The new K-12 school continues with the tradition of small class sizes with individual attention as well as providing specialty offerings like their STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics). The project is currently under construction and scheduled to open for classes fall of 2015.
